“Some take refuge in the chaos that surrounds them. I explore that and show you how chaos can lead to joyful tranquility.”
A Creative Mind and Spirit
Janetta found photography through her father who was a front-line combat photographer during the Vietnam War. Her early exposure (no pun intended) to the love of photography instilled a creative mind and spirit that she continued to develop through to adulthood. She has been a professional photographer for over 15 years and provides her clients with architectural, landscape and business-related images.
Depth and Dance
“For me it’s all about the creation process. I like to explore ways to create more depth and dance in my pieces.”
Janetta explains that her acrylic on acrylic series creates, “an energy and excitement with colors, shapes and lines that draw the eye through the chaos into unity.” Whether she is painting abstracts, or life, she strives to let her personality shows through with emotion evoking color and depth. She loves to create contemporary art finding that perfect balance between the real world and the imagined.
Acrylic, Mixed Media and Photography
Janetta works from her studio in Oklahoma City. She enjoys working with composition, shapes and vivid colors in acrylic, mixed media and photography. She studies under several well-known artists with her mentors being Bert Seaborn, Ardith Goodwin and Sandra Duran Wilson.

In addition to her Gallery Showing at The Vault Pauls Valley, Janetta’s work can be seen at 14th Street Studios, Oklahoma City, Urbane Home and Lifestyle, Oklahoma City and Valley Blossom Shop in Pauls Valley.
