Up-cycled Art!

“I have a passion of up-cycled art! Being a collector of junk, I just can not stand to see something go to waste. Most of my work is functional art in the form of artisan chimes, bird baths, sculpted bird houses, fire pits, outdoor sculptures, furniture, jewelry & lighting.”

It's the Horses' fault

Jerold is a native Okie, born and raised in Southern Oklahoma, currently in residence at Ardmore. He began his art instruction at the Goddard Center Youth Camp at age 7. Throughout his schooling his mother (a school teacher) made sure he was continually enrolled in art classes. It was while working for his Uncle at night while watching horses at the track in Ruidoso, NM,  he took up carving. From that point forward he has worked in various media with all types of metals including bronze being his medium of choice.

Presence in Oklahoma

Most of Jerold’s work can be found in private collections around Oklahoma. He currently exhibits in his private local gallery +SHOWROOM, he has an immersive outdoor exhibit at BaseCamp Oklahoma, a restorative nature retreat, and he exhibits monthly at HERE Gallery in Ardmore. In addition he has been juried in at multiple Annual Goddard Juried Shows & received honorable mention as well as sold work through the show. He also has a permanent install in the Goddard main lobby of bronze and glass; a functional tree table.
